Kid's birthday party turns into brawl

ELMWOOD PLACE – A large, beer-soaked melee broke out at a toddler’s birthday party early Tuesday in this small Hamilton County suburb, hospitalizing two men and prompting police from several agencies to respond.

“It was an unbelievable scene, the amount of blood and broken glass,” said Elmwood Place
Police Chief William Peskin. About 30 children witnessed the 1 a.m. brawl
among 75 people at Elmwood Eagles Hall, 5633 Vine St.

None of the youngsters were injured, Peskin said. The father of the 3-year-old birthday girl - Ramon Marcelo-Hernandez, 26, of Norwood -was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Punches and beer bottles were thrown after a dispute that began earlier Monday among two men – a woman’s boyfriend and her ex-husband- came to a head at the birthday party for a 3-year-old.

When police arrived, some 150 people were still gathered and about half of them were
participating in the melee, Peskin said. Countless beer bottles were hurled, including
ones that cut a man’s eye and injured a second victim’s head, neck and chest, he said.

More than 20 police officers from jurisdictions such as Cincinnati and St. Bernard swarmed the scene to restore order. Police notified Hamilton County Job and Family
Services, which is now investigating, Peskin said.

A total of 15 people were injured, including five who went to University Hospital, Peskin said. Four people were treated for cuts that required stitches and then released. One man underwent eye surgery from a stab wound from a broken beer bottle, the chief said. Doctors are doing tests to check for possible brain damage.

An investigation continues. More arrests are expected.

“The whole party was Hispanic, so we’re having language barriers and they are being very
uncooperative,” Peskin said. A police officer who speaks Spanish was
summoned from Wyoming to assist.

Elmwood Eagles, a fraternal organization, rented the hall out for the party, Peskin said. Their members were not involved in the brawl.

In a decision that can only be described as touchy, a Brazilian judge has reportedly ruled that a 36-year-old female accountant can legally masturbate at work and watch porn on her work computer.

Ana Catarian Bezerra successfully argued that she suffers from a chemical imbalance that triggers severe anxiety and hypersexuality, according to a viral news story.

Her work situation began to suffer because the only way she can relieve her anxiety is by masturbating frequently, according to Guanabee.com.

"I got so bad I would to masturbate up to 47 times a day," she said. "That's when I asked for help, I knew it wasn't normal."......

Her doctor has also given her a medical cocktail of tranquilizers that has reduced her need to masturbate to about 18 times a day.

American X, I heard about that book and plan to get it for my friend who has a toddler. It's written for parents, by the way, not kids. The locker room at the gym I work out in is stupid small. Short of staring at the ceiling and risking running into someone's junk, it is impossible not to see other people in the locker room.

Also, the guy was like Boehner-tan. Easily the tannest individual I have seen in many years, and possibly ever.

"Twenty-one-year-old Willard Yoder, who is Amish, was arrested in Indiana last week for "sexting" a 12-year-old girl and trying to solicit her outside a restaurant.
Their correspondence began when he texted a random number and received a response. A forensic probe of the girl's cell phone revealed that Yoder had sent her more than 600 salacious texts, including two video messages and six pictures of himself and his genitalia, according to the Connersville Police Department report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

LANCASTER, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is looking into a report that fourth- through seventh-graders at a YMCA day camp were told to lower their swimsuits in front of a counselor trying to determine which child defecated in the pool.

Police say a parent told officers that boys and girls were separated at a YMCA in Lancaster, southeast of Columbus, on Tuesday. He told them his son was called into a locker room with another boy, both were told to pull their shorts down to their knees, and a male counselor inspected their bottoms.

The YMCA's executive director says up to 65 students were involved. He says there was no criminal wrongdoing but the YMCA is investigating.

He says feces found in the pool on consecutive days were a serious health concern.

A man in India complaining of stomach pain had a hysterectomy after doctors discovered a full female reproductive system in his lower abdomen.

The farmer and father of two, identified only as Ryalu, was admitted to a hospital near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where doctors diagnosed him with a hernia, the Daily Telegraph reported.

When doctors proceeded with the routine operation, they discovered a female uterus, ovaries, Fallopian tubes, a cervix and vaginal tissue.

Dr Pramod Kumar Shrivastava, a surgeon at the Chhindwara district hospital, told the Daily Telegraph that Ryalu had external male organs and was healthy.

Although Ryalu is medically considered a hermaphrodite, his hormones and sexuality are male, Shrivastava said.

Ryalu, who was said to be as "stunned" as his doctors at the discovery, is recovering in the hospital and is being supported by his family.

(CBS) - Authorities say a Washington State man doused himself in liquid human waste and hid in a portable toilet after plowing his car into a condominium.

According to police, Longview resident Gordon Flavia, 56, got into his Jeep outside his condominium building Tuesday afternoon and reversed it through his neighbor's carport and into their bathroom, reports Longview publication The Daily News.

Luckily, no one was home at the time but neighbors heard the commotion.

The Jeep and carport were damaged then Flavia immediately fled on foot according to the Daily News report. Police found him hiding inside a portable toilet in a field north of Waste Control. He was soaking wet.

"We didn't know exactly what it was ... but it smelled bad," said Police Sergeant Doug Kazensky.

The Daily News also reports Flavia told officers he splashed himself with the contents of a bucket outside a portable toilet "because he thought the dogs were coming, and he was trying to throw off the scent," says Kazensky.

"It looks like alcohol was involved," said Longview Police Sergeant Ed Jones about the incident.

Flavia was reportedly taken to St. John Medical Center for minor injuries following the wreck. He could be charged with driving under the influence, depending on the outcome of toxicology tests taken at the hospital. He may also face hit-and-run charges.

Spanish soccer powerhouse Real Madrid has made what is sure to be one of the most talked-about moves of the off-season, signing a 7-year-old Argentine to its youth system, according to an Argentine sports website.

The Spanish-language Ole ran an interview with Leonel Angel Coira in which the youngster said he had signed a contract to play in the Galacticos' youngest division. His training begins September 6, he said.

Real Madrid had no word of the signing on its website, but goal.com reported that club spokesman Juan Tapiador confirmed the news Monday.

According to goal.com, Real Madrid snapped up the youngster to ward off attempts by other European clubs in the future – namely rival Atletico Madrid, which Ole said had already expressed interest in Coira.

Coira told Ole last week that he preferred making assists over scoring goals, that he can juggle a ball eight or nine times without dropping it and that his dream is to play for Real Madrid's first team, which is home to some of the world's greatest players, including Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a statement that might not sit so well with the Galacticos' faithful, Coira said his favorite player was fellow Argentine Lionel Messi, who plays for F.C. Barcelona. Real and Barcelona face each other twice a year in Spain's top league in a game known as "El Clasico."

The first comments began arriving on Coira's Facebook page after noon ET Monday and had already digressed into a war of words between Real and Barca fans. There were also notes of congratulations. Baerke van der Meij became an Internet sensation after he was filmed chipping three soccer balls into a box at his home.

Dutch team VVV Venlo -- the same soccer team his grandfather played for -- invited the toddler for a tryout after seeing him on the web and ended up offering him a 10-year contract. The club stressed however that the contract is symbolic.

Johnson and Wales used to be sort of lower tier college located in Providence. It has since opened branches in other places and specializes as a culinary institution. Can't be D-1.

They are down in the Miami/Lauderdale area too. A friend's son went there, but not for the culinary arts stuff. He was not a scholar in HS, but he's doing great now. Helps if you are born right.
