    Big East Tournament Thread

So this is becoming the all conference tourneys thread.

Anyway, the A10 introduced the Fordham Classic, it is held the night before the tournament, as Fordham used to always get sent away with no tourney. This year the Fordham Classic was with George Mason, who did not adjust to the high standards of the A10. Fordham won a tournament game! Of course they then lost to Dayton.

Purnell was asleep at the wheel all year and now decides to start coaching. DePaul actually has some decent talent. I'd love to have that Garrett kid.

14,925 attendance at the BE afternoon session. 13,011 reported at the AAAAAAAAAAAAAAC. 12,515 at the ACC. 9,308 at the SEC. 6,823 at the A10. 18,809 at the B1G.

Winner in the afternoon sessions was Big 12- 18,972...Of course Kansas was basically playing a home game.

It was a Kansas and Kansas State doubleheader.

The ACC will swell up tomorrow with Duke and North Carolina playing. At least they're using a turn-style count and not inflating the numbers.

Those numbers are typical for conference tournaments, especially in the early rounds. Fans of weak teams aren't as interested, and don't want to travel because there is no real expectation that their team will be able to do anything.

I hate ESPN's website. Notice anything missing?

Looks like the losses by Nova and St. John's are really hurting the attendance tonight. Hopefully it get's better for X and Creighton.

    MOR might blow a gasket.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
