Creighton actually does a charity game once a year about this time, but I don't know why they insist it be a non-DI team, though.

I know it's early, but Creighton should go ahead and wake up against their D II opponent.

Down 3 and Butler has a horrible possession. No one touches it but Baldwin who dribbles around loses his dribble then takes a very deep three and misses bad. Gotta get the ball to Martin there. Butler goes down to Georgetown at home. That is a bad loss.

Georgetown now a half game behind Marquette in the standings. It'll be the second time they'll have a week off before their upcoming game with Xavier.

Yikes.
Seriously, if the rest of the country weren't so bad, the Big east would be in pretty big danger of only getting 3-4 bids. Butler is now 17-10, Providence is 16-9, and Seton Hall is 17-8. At some point all those losses have to mean something, and While butler does have some great wins, they are far from a lock and can still blow it. Same for SHU and Providence. If Georgetown and St Johns stay hot, its Bad news for the middle of the league

Is there anyone in the league other than DePaul who has no shot at MSG in three weeks?
