NCAA Grants Blanket Waiver for all D1 Transfers

They can all play, in all sports,, effective immediately.

I believe the YIR Rule is all but dead. They could announce it as soon as the winter meetings. If not then, then definitely by the summer. It’s over. Transfers won’t have to sit out a year.

Would guess that it is limited to 1X over a 5 year period.

Good, I love the rule change.

Which makes their previous decision to deny the Stanley waiver..... curious.
"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Or why not come to this decision in October? The NCAA continues to be a mismanaged joke.

I'm happy Ben gets to play, but it would have been nice to have him all season.

Does he get next season as well if he chooses to stick around?

My understanding is Yes. But he will be 24 by the end of next season, so there is a chance he decides to move on with life.

Him and every other player on the team, yes.
