    2020-21 Schedule

With Jon Rothstein saying on Twitter that Marshall has been confirmed as a buy game for next year, here is how the schedule currently looks:

    HOME
    Wake Forest (Skip Prosser Classic)
    Likely Big 12 challenge
    Marshall
Possible Gavitt Game (could also be away)

    AWAY
    Cincinnati

    NEUTRAL
Orlando Invitational (with Auburn, Belmont, Boise State, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Saint Louis and Siena)

That would leave room for three more games - it's possible we see one more road game, but more likely than not three more buy games to fill up the schedule.

We really need another roadie. I wonder if we'd be willing to trade off one more year of a road game in the Big 12 or Gavitt this year for 2 straight home games the two years after?

Brian Snow mentioned that the Gavitt Game is a road game.

Welp. This sure hasn’t been that great for us. That would be 3 road games vs 1 home game. They owe us 2 homers in a row!

But Xavier's 2 wins in the Gavitt Games were both on the road. Might as well get the roadies out of the way ASAP.

Oklahoma at home in Big East- Big 12 Battle

    (Creighton at Kansas is tasty)

Would prefer Oklahoma in Norman, myself, but I guess this will do.

If Creighton had been able to keep all their dudes, that matchup in Lawrence would have been better.

Yes, with an away Gavitt game however a home B12 game is a nice complement. Although I assume you prefer the away game because of geography and not schedule balance.

Creighton still will be good unless it’s a mass exodus, which seems unlikely from what I can tell? Alexander is gone for sure, anyone else?

Davion Mintz grad transferred to Kentucky. Denzel Mahoney is expected back but is at least testing the NBA draft waters.

And yes, I just wanted the 2.5 hour trip to Norman to see Xavier play.

Yeah. Pretty pleased with that. An opponent that we haven’t seen for about 20 years, at home.
    Me likely.
