Now +2 with 3 holes to play. Jason needs to finish with no worse than a birdie to move on to the weekend.

Birdie on 18 ensures that he'll make the cut for the 2nd time in the US Open.

NICE! Wins are great, but just keep making the cut and you make a nice living. You can't finish high if you miss the cut.

Cooley Clan will be at Erin Hills Saturday.

Look for the guy on the left sporting an X cap.

Nice back 9 for Jason today. 3 birdies in the last 6 holes to go from the wrong side of the cut line to 6 strokes off the lead and in a tie for 42nd. Not too bad heading into the weekend.

Don't look now but Jason starts -3 for his first 5 holes, stands T8 at the moment, 3 shots back of leaders.
I have seen only two great plays: Hamlet and put the ball into the basket

One shot off the lead now. 8 under in the last 16 holes.

    It's my fault.

As soon as tuned in today, he bogeys to go back to -6 under. We tuned into CBS and immediately saw Jason and his attempt to save par.

I promise not to watch any more and to simply get my golf updates here.

Another solid weekend for Jason. Awful start on Thursday, so he was never close to contending, but fought back to make the cut and finish at level par. Should end up around 25th or so.
