Maybe most people now interact through Twitter and other platforms, rather than online in a user forum such as Xavier Hoops.
(Makes sense given the rise of cell phone usage 24/7)

The drawback to many of those would seem to be the restriction on longer thoughts on an issue, creating game threads multiple people can follow in a single location, etc.

Intertwined is the ongoing concern of the cost/viability of this particular forum. I had suggested lifetime memberships as a way to raise money to help support Muskie's efforts, and Snipe noted how that could be counterproductive down the road. So, I just sent in 10 years worth of membership at one time. That'll prevent me from worrying about it for a while...and heck, it might end up being a lifetime membership!

At any rate, I did a poll years ago, and thought it might be worth another shot. So give it a shot and let's see where our membership breaks out according to our graduation year.
Not and X grad (SLU) but I will vote my decade.

Graduated from X in 2015, love Twitter for quick news about the team, or highlights, etc. but if I want a real discussion 140 characters isn't going to cut it, plus I like you guys. I'm pretty sure I joined XHoops the day of attending the brawl my Freshman year. Hoping to make it back to Cintas soon and grab a beer with you oldies. <3

I graduated from the MARINE CORPS in 57 and XAVIER in 62. Makes me an old fart, but still a fan and ticket holder.

You are not an old fart, you are a seasoned fart. Those can be scary too!

Up to 53 and the 80/90's are dominating.
The generations that grew up with computers in college...and not cell phones!
