Rhetoric, narrative, and feelings might be one thing but the data says otherwise.
So, he wasn't saying that's what he believes happened. The point is, Trump was an awful candidate and the democrats are so awful that they lost to him twice, and almost a third time.

Hoopster, Paul etc are oh Trump is so awful because of X,Y,Z and completely ignore the fact that the democrats as a base are actually worse right now. They are so fixated on shit that the majority of the country doesn't give a shit about or can relate to. Hell this last time, the democrats had the chance to handpick their candidate and picked the worst possible candidate out of anyone (except maybe Newsom). This was the chance to pick someone normal, and they still wouldn't do it. They are horrible at winning elections...it's actually astonishing how bad they are at it.

The "Two Weeks" President does it again. Now, the Trumpster says it isn't so important to get tariff deals done by his own deadline. Of course, he hasn't delivered with China or Great Britain, the EU is laughing at him, and Japan isn't answering his tweets! Donny lost his marbles a few crises ago; eventually even MAGA fools will see it.

My very large and politically split family have had this conversation over and over. Most of us are pretty moderate and realize how the system actually works, but there are a few very hard swinging lefties that simply can't get it through their heads that they had the White House in their grasp and effed it up. My bleeding heart niece (God love her) told me that the Democrats actually run better candidates, but the majority of Americans are too dumb to recognize that.

Think about the pervasive narrative that democrats are the smart ones and repubs are deplorable hillbillies. It's a real thing. It's the kind of thinking that doesn't allow people to look inward and delivers Donald Trump to the white house....twice.

This is from April 6. I wasn't NEARLY greedy enough, dammit. At least I didn't act on fear.

Rhetoric, narrative, and feelings, none of these things are proof of which you have zilch. I voted Trump this last election. I am not a Trump hater, I hold him accountable, but I don't blindly hate the guy.

And therein lies their problem. They can’t think outside their own bubble. I know plenty of conservatives / Republicans who were not thrilled with Trump as their candidate, and don’t agree with everything he’s doing (me included). I don’t know of any liberals / Democrats who aren’t sure that Biden was at the top of his game and one of the best Presidents of all time, and that Kamala would have been even better.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

BJF: What Dems like me saw last November was a wanna-be dictator who refused to accept the '20 election results, sent a mob that attacked the Capitol, injuring over 140 cops, sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll, was attacking Muslims & other legitimate immigrants in the grossest terms, and who was a bankrupt six times over. He was a loser for the country and Dems saw it clearly. Did we have the strongest candidate to go after Trump? That was our problem, and the country is now paying a huge price. Yes, we Dems own our candidate problem; MAGA voters own Trump and his policies.

Pretty cool press briefing from the pentagon. General breaks down the mission. Hard to believe it started in 2009
