That’s exactly what it is. Their guards are long and athletic and are playing tight at the perimeter so our guys don’t get 3s off but we also can’t get around them.

Scoring isnt the issue.....

I’m down with a zone to keep Free & Con on the floor. Defensive rebounding in a zone is ac challenge, so maybe Texas crashes the OBoards. That could lead to some transition opportunities for us.

We need the ball to bounce our way. We play straight up again and we almost certainly lose. Need a different look on D and just hope transition O gets us back in this.

And if we get a lead….well I have no idea what to do then. Let’s deal with that when it happens.

Offense and athleticism is not the isssue at all. We scored fine. It’s defensive effort, balls slipping out of hands and rebounding that’s been the issue. Yeah they have an nba lottery pick so he’s better than everyone on the floor but the rest of their team is Xavier type athleticism.
