Did anyone happen to catch that the BLS recently corrected their own statistics for 2024 to reflect that the US actually created 820,000 fewer jobs than was originally reported? It represents the largest BLS correction since 2009. How does that happen?... Makes zero sense

One side of me thinks that the BLS was inflating stats during an election year to provide false hope/narratives

On the other hand, the BLS would not offer this type of a correction so close to an election if they were in the pocket of the Dems

I think the smart money points to general incompetence, which has been pretty pervasive in our government over the last decade or so.
