OK, two seasons into Suits now, and even Harvard's admissions must think the Harvard love in this show is cringe. Harvard isn't even the nation's top law school.

Late to the party on this one but if you’d like to really hate the fda, doj and pharma even more, watch dopesick. If even half of what was in the show is true, all of them are absolute pieces of shit that should be burned at the stake

just watched American Nightmare on Netflix last night. That was unsettling. Without giving too much away, doesn't paint the people who are supposed to protect us in a great light.

Haven't watched American Nightmare yet, but on a Netflix note has anyone else switched to their $6.99 plan with ads ? We decided a couple months ago that $20 a month for Netflix was too pricey, and opted for the $6.99 plan. So far, so good. Yes it has ads but most are very short, and we're willing to put up with it to save $150 a year. And it means we can watch Masters of the Air, The Morning Show, and some other stuff on Apple TV for a couple months, or maybe longer. We did the same with HBO, opting for the yearly with ads plan for $69.

I saw American Nightmare. The whole show I told my wife stories told to me by a best friend of mine who works in a capacity for public defense. He has told me countless stories about detectives who get an idea in their head who committed the crime and toss out all other possibilities and only look for evidence that supports their target. The rest in his area all see the same stuff. Watching that on Netflix, I saw a lot of the same from those police. They had in their head it was Gone Girl from the start.

Spoiler alert: I almost wonder if it was even more sinister than that. I wonder if the fbi/police force were accomplices. And/Or Maybe this was a buddy they were protecting

The we are the world doc was pretty interesting. It was a touch before my time of knowing anything beyond Sesame Street so there was a whole lot i wasn’t aware of. Getting that many different personalities and egos to do a song all in one night was extremely impressive.
