College coaches complaining (whining) about players transfering will never not be hilarious to me. Especially as he says there is no point in complaining about it while complaining about it.

He wasn’t complaint about the player transferring……even said that he understood and didn’t blame him for doing so. He was commenting on what Notre Dame did with the “senior” night recognition, and the song they played.

But I get your point and agree with the premise. Coaches could always leave and move freely while players couldn’t, and I’m sure that Wake brought in some transfers this year just as they were losing some. What goes around comes around.

He wasn't complaining about Hartman's decision but he was most certainly complaining about the current rules in college athletics which allowed him to make the decision. Which is what I find funny.

And you are right, I am sure Wake has/will go after recruits from programs at a lower level than theirs.
