Seems like a good time to remind everyone that lockdowns killed far more than they saved, and masks don’t stop an airborne respiratory virus.

Well, I got the call last night that my 95 year old mother has Covid in the nursing home. That explains the cough yesterday when I was visiting. Not good, but we will deal with it.

A buddy just went up to the US Open and was amazed how crowded it was on Saturday. Wished he had gone during the week when it wasn’t so packed. He tested positive for Covid today.
A retired priest/friend of ours spends much of his year traveling with groups. If he gets 25-30 people in a group, he can go pretty much anywhere he wants for free. He recently got back from a trip to Oregon with a group of 40+. He said at least half got Covid.
It’s back.
I’m not going to freak over this, though I’m obviously concerned about my 95 year old mother who is positive and in quarantine. That alone will make her……worse. But all we can do is march forward.
