Seems like a good time to remind everyone that lockdowns killed far more than they saved, and masks don’t stop an airborne respiratory virus.

All indications are that masks will be coming back in October. We shall see.

Bet there’s a very different response from the public this time.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

Well, I got the call last night that my 95 year old mother has Covid in the nursing home. That explains the cough yesterday when I was visiting. Not good, but we will deal with it.

A buddy just went up to the US Open and was amazed how crowded it was on Saturday. Wished he had gone during the week when it wasn’t so packed. He tested positive for Covid today.

A retired priest/friend of ours spends much of his year traveling with groups. If he gets 25-30 people in a group, he can go pretty much anywhere he wants for free. He recently got back from a trip to Oregon with a group of 40+. He said at least half got Covid.

    It’s back.

I’m not going to freak over this, though I’m obviously concerned about my 95 year old mother who is positive and in quarantine. That alone will make her……worse. But all we can do is march forward.

He’s been there about a half dozen times, but he said this was claustrophobic. He sent me pics from the crowd as he was stuck in it.

Feel free to do so. No one’s forcing you to do anything.
