Fortuntately that's the only hit Oregon has managed off of Bell.
Still thinking Xavier is on the verge of adding a run or two on the board.

New rules also bit Penn in the butt - they had the bases loaded but a hitter-clock violation led to the Quakers stranding the bases loaded on what became strike 3.
As it is, they're still up 2-1 in the 5th. Could potentially have two 4-seeds moving on to the Super Regionals tonight should Penn and Oral Roberts win.

Xavier's hitting has been a major disappointment. Bell can't keep this up all night. Hope I'm wrong on that...

Luke Bell is now pitching like Luke Bell.
Jesus, awful baseball here. No hits and two runs. So far.
Well, we knew the offense needed to step up, and they just haven't. Still 12 outs to go, but likely their best chances are behind them as they get deep in the Oregon pen.Last edited by GoMuskies; 06-04-2023 at 10:49 PM.

That's going to be much tougher to overcome. Throwing errors and balks just handed 2 runs to the Ducks on a silver platter.

Nice job by Schwaner. Need to respond with the bats NOW.

Gift run from Oregon to get it to 4-1. One zero here and a rally?

Now they just need 3 runs against the teeth of the Oregon bullpen.

"Both Oregon and Xavier have tremendous facilities"
Guessing David Dellucci has never set foot at Hayden Field.
EDIT: Saying this as Oral Roberts has won the Stillwater Region.

Good night. Great season. Way too many walks tonight, and just a bad hitting day overall.
Get em next year!
