New rules also bit Penn in the butt - they had the bases loaded but a hitter-clock violation led to the Quakers stranding the bases loaded on what became strike 3.

As it is, they're still up 2-1 in the 5th. Could potentially have two 4-seeds moving on to the Super Regionals tonight should Penn and Oral Roberts win.

Well, we knew the offense needed to step up, and they just haven't. Still 12 outs to go, but likely their best chances are behind them as they get deep in the Oregon pen.
