I would think, with the obvious turnaround in success, leadership, and especially player development - wouldn't a player want to play for Miller given that opportunity?

After being messed-up by the Tin Man, another year under the tutelage of the Master would seem like a pretty attractive option. Just seems as if there would be, at least, SOME incentive to stay.
Most of the time guys hit the portal for two reasons. 1 they are really good and crazy NIL deals come at them or 2 the head coach tells you that you are not in the future plans. So with Xavier Colby will go to the NBA and if anyone transfers for a NIL deal it would most likely be Freemantle. Jack will either stay or go to Europe, Des will come back, Jerome will come back and then with the rest of the guys who can return will stay if they have a positive meeting with Sean or they will hit the portal if they are told playing time will be tough to come by.

The fact that he participated in Senior night would lead me to believe that any "50/50" that may have existed has probably been resolved in favor of leaving.

He's 25 years old and married -- and if he wants to have a professional career, he needs to get that started ASAP.

If we want him back, we need to make NIL (combined with zero living expenses through the scholarship and stipend) more valuable than whatever pro contract he might get. For a guy like Nunge who is definitely never playing in the NBA, that might be possible.

I don’t expect him to come back. But the senior night stuff hardly matters, didn’t Scruggs just do the exact same thing? Participated in senior night and came back for one more year?

I don't really see any scenario where Nunge comes back. Colby is very likely gone, and the more time goes on, the less and less I think Freemantle will be back. Jerome is the only main guy that I think has a decent chance to return and I'd say that's slightly better than 50%. Let's send these guys off with a magical run.

Jack just turned 24 last month.
    And NIL IS a factor.

I think you are missing Des. He will be the top guy next year. As for Jerome I would say it’s about 90% he returns. He is having more fun than ever and I think he feels with another year with Sean he has a shot at the NBA. Not that is very likely, but he believes it. Sean said they are continuing to work on his three ball and if he comes back able to hit that consistently, look out.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Des coming back was a given. I was talking about the guys whose status is more up in the air.

Jerome, in an interview after the Pitt game, talked about shooting “1,000 3 pointers a day during the summer”.
    Yeah, he’s back
