I have seen Kriisa play in person a few times. He isn’t Boum but he can play. He isn’t flashy but he does his job. I would compare him to Payton Pritchard from Oregon though he is an NBA pro. Kriisa has never had to carry the load for a team. His defense is better than Boum but his three is 5 points less.
That would be a great get. He is a proven high D1 player and knows the system.

I went to one of Sean’s chalk talk things and saw somewhere (can’t remember where) that Sean basically wants two PGs on the court at all times. Or rather, both guards to be basically Combo guards. I really think what we’ve seen this year in this scheme is just scratching the surface of where the offense will be in the future. Everyone can handle the ball, everyone can attack, everyone can pass.
It’s a long way to say I think Claude and our incoming freshman will be very good in that role but we will need another one or two guys. I think kriisa fits well but that’s assuming Sean can reign him in. I think this offensive style will be extremely attractive to recruits of all kinds(high school/international/transfer).

With all of the transfer portal talk, who do we think will leave the program at the end of the year?
Seniors
Nunge
Kunkle
Boum
Pro
Jones: Think he will test the waters and see where his draft stock is. 50/50 he leaves.
Freemantle: Part of me thinks he returns yet part of me feels like he will go pro. Another 50/50 he leaves
Transfers
Edwards 100% leaves. Hasn’t developed as much as I thought he would under Miller.
Miles 100% leaves. Hasn’t developed to be a regular at this level.
Tandy 100% leaves. Surprised he didn’t transfer last year.
Tucker 50/50. Could see him stay or go.
Craft 75/25. Think he will stay and hopefully get more minutes next year but he may not be happy with the role he currently has.
I trust Miller to put together a solid roster for next year that will compete. Such a refreshing year after going through the Steele era. It will be interesting to see who returns and who we get from the portal.

I expect Kraft and Edwards to return. Not sure about other bench guys. I’ve also seen Nunge is closer to 50/50 than people think. (NIL may play into that) I don’t expect Freemantle back

I think Freemantle not participating in Senior night means he couldn’t (doubtful) or didn’t want to because he was returning.
I think Miles and Tandy will transfer. I think Tucker is 25/75 stay vs transfer. Edwards would flip. It’s clear to me Miller was trying to get Edwards to play like Hunter. I have no idea if he can but that was his role. I think Craft stays. He was not ready to play this season. Beyond the top 30, not many freshmen had an impact. Hunter stays for his final year.
We are getting a PG who could play some, two wings, and a big.

Supposedly Nunge staying would be all about the NIL money he could get.
Jones is as good as gone.
Free I could see 50/50.
Hunter I think is back.
Craft will be back I think, just wasn't quite ready this year.
I think Edwards is back.
No idea on Miles, Tandy, and Tucker. Would think they would look elsewhere but I can't believe Tandy came back this year, so I guess ya never know."I’m willing to sacrifice everything for this team. I’m going to dive for every loose ball, close out harder on every shot, block out for every rebound. I’m going to play harder than I’ve ever played. And I need you all to follow me." -MB '17

Wow! This sounds aggressive!
I would think, with the obvious turnaround in success, leadership, and especially player development - wouldn't a player want to play for Miller given that opportunity?
After being messed-up by the Tin Man, another year under the tutelage of the Master would seem like a pretty attractive option. Just seems as if there would be, at least, SOME incentive to stay.I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I drink 2XS.
