The commentary on this board that passes for analysis by some is mind-blowingly stupid and incredibly lazy.
First, a couple of definitions:
Rare: "seldom occurring or found"
Exceedingly: "to an extreme degree"
Alright, a few polls:
* ~80% of Democrats who had heard of CRT had a favorable view of it.
* ~70% of Democrats think that racism is a big problem:

One year later.....
* 28% of Democrats were strongly in favor of teaching students that the US was stolen from others - another 21% were weakly in favor of this.
* ~46% of Strong Democrats endorsed the firing of four people who lost their jobs over giving offense to woke sensibilities

* 45% of Democrats think that decriminalizing illegal border crossings is a good idea:

* 63% of Democrats and Leaning Dems say they have heard of someone preferring to use pronouns, and another 25% said they know someone who prefers to use pronouns. (in other words, there's a lot of use of pronouns out there).
* 66% of Democrats say they are comfortable using pronouns:

* 61% of Democrats think that kids should be able to pick their pronouns:

More polling: https://today.yougov.com/topics/poli...ouns-2022-poll
* 55% of Democratic voters would support a proposal for federal or state governments to fine Americans who choose not to get a COVID-19 vaccine
* 59% of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
*48% of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications.
* 45% of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
* 29% of Democratic voters would support temporarily removing parents’ custody of their children if parents refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

A couple of other surveys of interest:
* 64% of Democrats say that someone can be a man or a woman even if that is different from the sex they were assigned at birth:

* 65% of Democrats have a positive view of Socialism:

* 71% Of Young Democrats Say They Wouldn’t Date Republicans:

Are you suggesting that the ENTIRE MSM construct, ABC, NBC, CBS news, along with their cable affiliates. ALL of the big city print media rags, along with the smothering Progressive Social Media outlets, are seriously challenged by FOX News, Conservative Radio and a some insignificant extremist blogs?
It's not even a close fight in who is controlling the National Political narrative. Stop with the nonsense.Last edited by Xuperman; 09-08-2022 at 02:23 PM.

It sounds like you are referring to a "voter base"? I am am laser focused on the POLITICIANS that this "BASE", voted into positions of power.
The "Squad"? Yeah, they are so far left that it's to INFINITY at this point. F them. I am talking about ALL the upper DEM LEADERSHIP, that is responsible for the disaster currently in front of us.President of the Eddie Johnson Fan Club

Our new "common sense Republican" participant in the thread walks right in and aligns himself with Lou. Perfect.
I recall XVille as a pretty staunch conservative/Republican type, but at this point I expect he'd vote for Elizabeth Warren in '24. Point being, I don't think you guys are doing a very good job at being persuasive, which is kinda important in politics. At least it used to be, because the Democrats (here and elsehwere) really suck at the art of persuasion these days too.
