Both Strange Brew and XVille are correct on the Constitution issue. Fundamentally, it's a reflection of their politics. Conservatives believe that the Constitution means what it says and says what it means, and should be interpreted according to its original intent. Crazy liberals believe that the Constitution is open to interpretation.
It's pretty simple as that. The dynamic is reflected in the Supreme Court right now: it's Thomas vs Sotomayor

Not sure how you make everyone feel safe when people are so divided by the issue. Some kids have medical conditions that make them vulnerable to the virus. Some families follow CDC guidelines as instructed by schools. Other families don’t believe in Covid and don’t follow school protocol. Others believe it is their religious right not to wear a mask. Not sure how schools please everyone with our pissing off someone.

Lol this is your problem. You put everything and everyone in buckets..you feel as though because I believe something that you label as “liberal” or “ conservative” slanted or thinking, that that is who I am. Hysterical. Most people don’t think like this, the ones that do are either politicians or on extreme sides of the aisle.
I think “ conservative” or “liberal” on a number of different things. I don’t look up what the rnc or dnc thinks on an issue and then progress accordingly.
It’s funny you label conservatives as just conservatives but liberals are crazy liberals. There is no hope for you.Last edited by Xville; 02-10-2022 at 12:02 PM.

That is why the Democratic and Republican parties are what Strange Brew would call, “Authoritarianism“. You either have to believe everything the republicans believe or you are called a crazy liberal. Similarly, if you don’t believe everything the Democrats say, you are a Trump boy. I find it amusing when you talk to somebody who is all Republican or all democrat. Like really, all of your views match all of the views of one of those parties? You really shouldn’t be one or the other or you are just a sheep being controlled by the party. This is why both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were not removed from office for being impeached. The Authoritarianism of both parties made sure that their politicians stuck to the party. Liz Chaney being censured by the Republican Party for not being loyal to Donald Trump is another example. Just like how votes go party lines. Politicians are made to vote not by their own thoughts and feeling that best work for their constituents but by their political party. If they don’t, they basically commit career suicide and lose funding. The political party system is corrupt and it has everything to do with people who don’t call out both parties when they are wrong.

To quote Ferris Buehler. "Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people." :)

Actually, I wrote that because of your insufferable attempts at beating a dead horse on a trivial topic that you seem to bring up on every thread. It wreaks of desperation. Brew obviously pissed you off at some point, and now you're trying to score points, but looking more like Lloyd Price on his infamous 359-degree "dunk".
Anyway, you're a big Andrew Yang fan...nuff said....
