See everyone. Ville doesn't research, he just "knows".

For example. Ville, what is Lysenkoism and how does it apply to this discussion?

Wasting your time with someone who thinks they know everything, uses big words to try and sound smart, says things like research ( where have I heard that one before), then you may even do some research because you can’t believe someone is this insane, and then prove to him that he’s wrong, but yet he will continue to die on a sword that is factually incorrect such as he still believes the Supreme Court doesn’t interpret the constitution. Just trying to help a fellow poster out do with it what you will.

Still haven't read the Constitution or know what Lysenkoism is yet? Your first line is pure irony.

Thanks XVILLE. I have an uncle on both sides of my family who are far left and far right. One believe everything Trump says as gospel and believes Trump can do know wrong. The other uncle thinks Biden is a Chinese puppet who gives goodie bags to immigrants who cross the southern border illegally. Let me tell you family get togethers can be very interesting. I know both XU_Lou and Strange Brew have strong views about a number of topics. I enjoy engaging with them in small doses and know that they won’t change their feelings on topics no matter what information is given to them to support or refute their views. It’s all good in small doses.

Thanks Phan. Happy to discuss anytime. I'm not a member of either major party. I'm a Libertarian if that helps where I'm coming from on the Constitution and Authoritarianism. :)

Teachers Union Boss Says ‘Real Issue’ Is Making Sure People ‘Feel’ Safe

Teachers union boss Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers, said the “real issue” when it comes to coronavirus restrictions, including masking children, is making sure people “feel” safe — not the actual science.

“The issue becomes how do we make sure the entire community in a school feels safe and welcome,” she said during an appearance on MSNBC, agreeing that it is time to discuss an “off-ramp for masks” in schools. Weingarten said:

And I don’t think that we — when you get to COVID, there’s no no-risk. The real issue becomes how do we make sure that everybody feels safe. So if we don’t have mask mandate in school, we’ve got to make sure that kids and teachers are not stigmatized for wearing masks, and we better do everything we can to make sure the ventilation is working in classrooms so that there’s fresh air and that we’re doing everything in our power to make sure that this virus is not transmissible.
Follow the Science they say! The Teacher's Union is the absolute worst.

The issue is making everyone "feel safe"?

Kids are the least likely to experience any severe symptoms from Covid. What next? Make every kid where a hair net so no one gives anyone else lice? There's always going to be colds, flus, viruses, etc.

Just because you believe that the Supreme Court shouldn’t or doesn’t have the power to interpret, doesn’t mean they don’t. They factually do.
