I'm not sure what you guys are still fighting for. Newsflash: it's over - we won. The Democrats overplayed their hand, and have been exposed as the petty tyrants they really are. Unless you're in a few commie-occupied states or cities, this is completely over. No more masks, no more lockdowns, no more absurd rules, and no more vaccines will be forced on the remaining pure bloods. Anyone who has the ability to discern lies from propaganda and fearmongering knows none of these mitigation efforts ever worked.
It's all good, though. The Republicans are going to be taking everything from the US Senate down to dog catcher seats in the upcoming November elections. And then Trump will be elected in 2024. We're going to elect people who actually love America, and will get this country back on track again.
I know there's been a lot of bickering and name calling on this thread over the last 22 months. Hope none of you took it personally! It was all done in the name of truth and science. In the end, we skeptics were completely successful in getting the truth out there on this board. and in the process, as time went on, we've been proven right on nearly every prediction and assertion - whether you want to admit or not. The truth is on our side. History will be on our side as well.
Next time, hopefully you all won't allow yourselves to be so easily fooled by such nonsense. Try looking a little deeper into the issues instead of believing everything the media spoon feeds you, and have a basic understanding of data analysis and risk assessment. It will save you a lot of angst!
Finally, for a few of you, next time you decide you wish to engage in a battle of wits with us, I would suggest that you come armed.
Peace out....Last edited by XU_Lou; 01-31-2022 at 09:15 PM.

I read the first line or two above. I have ZERO interest in the politics of all this. Some people are all about the politics. I avoid those posts and posters the most.
What do I need to do to be safe, and protect those around me? It’s all about being a good family member and citizen. I don’t give a shit about the politics.

I thought this tweet was a good take about all of the different Covid fights going on and why a succinct consistent message is so difficult:
”"What should we do about COVID?" is 15 different conversations all happening at the same time, with people getting angry at each other because they don't realize they're not talking about the same thing. The experiences of children, college students, single adults, parents of small children, parents of school-age children, and seniors are all different, and further confounded by where you live, income, your health, the health of members of your family, etc, etc, etc.“
