this shows the team a road win is possible. Honestly you have St J v Villanova and UConn v Depaul and i think you will see that NOTHING is easy and NOTHINg is impossible. I bet one or both games will be a single posession game at the 2 minute mark

If we do have a successful season, as defined by making it to at least the second weekend, then there is no question that the end of the first half today will have proven to be the low-water mark of the season.

When was the last time we've had a MOR double feature of "everything goes wrong" and "everything goes right" in opposing halves of the same game? (game at Villanova notwithstanding)

I turned it off at halftime and haven’t seen the final score.
My assessment:
Burn Travis on the cross
Demote Scruggs and Fremantle to the JV team or trade them
Give up on the year
Was there anything worth watching in the second half?

55 points in the second half. Wow.
19 in the first half. Wow.
Captain Obvious says this team has really good halves and really bad ones. The former will keep them from losing to most bad teams. The latter will kept them from beating a lot of really good teams.
Coach Steele is still having trouble getting 40 very good minutes form his players. If he can, then this team could be dangerous. That and getting his players to the line more. Shooting more free throws will be crucial in games when the team is not shooting well.
