There are "haves" and "have nots" in the BE.

X guards Scruggs, Johnson, Kunkel and Odom do not have enough talent nor skill to make open shots, penetrate and score. Not good enough.


X big men: I believe Nunge is good enough to battle and score. Freemantle has the skill but he is simply awful this year.


Here is the good news.
All X has to do is win all remaining home games and lose every road game. That will leave X with a
10-9 BE record (no 2nd Georgetown game?)

X will probably be a 10-12 seed

Is that good news, tho? Making the tourney means Steele gets another year

Three years worth of the same garbage offensive schematics that we are still seeing now.
It’s not gonna change no matter who the personnel are. So easily defensed.
By the way. That missing layups thing? None of those are totally clean looks. None come from a cut after a good screen. They are all challenged. Poor scheme again.
Mix in inability to recognize matchups and bad sub patterns and we see what we see.
Steele stubbornly refuses to change.

You know the game much better than I. If this is truly about his schemes, as well as his inability to make adjustments, then I am done.

Here comes the run that x will make..probably get it down to about 2, maybe even tie it up and then will lose. Then we can have the moral victory conversation about how this team never gave up and fought.

Xavier was once looking like a 4 seed a few weeks ago probably looking at a 7 seed after today. Will the seed keep falling or is this team going to turn it around ? Thank god X won at Depaul

St. Johns is not a bad team and Mike Anderson gives us fits. I can’t remember the last time we beat any ranked Big East team road or otherwise. These are his guys he brought in and it is currently failing against the top half of the conference.

I just don’t see the wins to 500 in conference.
