Halftime speech:
"Holy shit, Tom Brady retired? Man something always weird happens when we come here for a pink-out game."
(Silence ensues)

Told my coworker this week, I thought we would finish 9-11 in conference and lose in the first round of the tourney again. We would not make the ncaa tourney again. Does anyone disagree with me at this point?

There are "haves" and "have nots" in the BE.
X guards Scruggs, Johnson, Kunkel and Odom do not have enough talent nor skill to make open shots, penetrate and score. Not good enough.
X big men: I believe Nunge is good enough to battle and score. Freemantle has the skill but he is simply awful this year.
Here is the good news.
All X has to do is win all remaining home games and lose every road game. That will leave X with a
10-9 BE record (no 2nd Georgetown game?)
X will probably be a 10-12 seed

I'm off to coach my 5th graders. Play St. Pius in the OL Victory Tournament. I wish there were a webcast so you all could see a team miss less layups (but prob not by much). Will report back. Peace.
Xavier is THE University of Cincinnati

As trite as this sounds, the bubble is radioactive garbage once again this year. Not being able to win a conference road game of significance sucks, but we're now reduced to a point where this team needs to avoid wetting the bed against Butler, DePaul and St. John's. I know Seton Hall sucks right now, but they're also going through injuries right now.
