I do and Lou isn’t my boy. However he at least provides some backup for his assertions. You’ve been spinning angrily on this board since challenged by Lou and others. Which is not a sign of a good argument. Have you taken the time to read Article III of the Constitution yet?

Not a trump fan but believed his policies where solid. You brought nothing but hatred and division. Should be banned if xulou was banned. Don’t see any difference, far left or right politics not a good discussion

No, why would I? It’s not what they are charged to do. They decide whether laws passed by Congress and disputes between the States violate the Rights granted by the(a) Creator to the People or the States.

You’re pretty jazzed about this. So I’ll ask. Have you ever read the Constitution yourself and not had it explained to you? You’d be surprised how much you think you know isn’t true.

It’s frightening you think that the Supreme Court doesn’t interpret the constitution.

Don’t know why you find it frightening. It’s not scary to have your beliefs challenged. Just read the Constitution, then the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers, then throw in a bit of Bastiat, Hayek, Paine, Orwell, Thoreau amongst others and maybe you’ll be ready to discuss.

I don’t need to read any of that to know that the Supreme Court interprets the constitution. Maybe go to Washington DC, see if you can find one of the justices, and ask them if they interpret the constitution and maybe you’ll be ready to discuss.

    Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

This is funny btw because you despairingly told me to read a book in another thread.

Pretty sure Thomas shares my view. Others may as well but a body politic has decided to use the Court to advance or create law they couldn’t achieve through the Legislature/Amendment process for ~100 years. All the while we The People cede power.

Again, just because we’ve accepted the Judicial acting in violation of checks and balances doesn’t mean we have to.
