Taking the chances of being in that 2% or chance of getting extremely sick or long haul vs getting a shot.
Yes, Ville. His post wasn't as condescending as you think.

I'm good with my odds of not being in the 2% since I had COVID, am vaccinated, not old, have low body fat and in shape. I take a higher risk driving every day.

Glad it worked out for him since no one is stopping the flood of potentially infected and unvaccinated people into his state.

I’m sure this will get lost in the shuffle of garbage but I do find this pretty interesting and in line with what I’ve seen in real life.

Despite making up 2.7% of the population, 40 - 44% of breakthrough hospitalizations have been in the immunocompromised. I think it may be a bit lower that that but even so that is why they are recommending a 3rd shot.

Pfizer shot will be fully approved in the next week in all likelihood…

I'm open to new info but I'm not open to feckless "experts" who are all over the place. I've heard and researched as much as possible. I don't find it extreme to take a position once you have data and understand the statistics. If you are in an at risk pop you should: Get vaxxed, wear a mask and try to get on with your life as best as possible.

We're in a circular logical spiral and can't plant a foot to move forward. Be moderate all you want but other people have figured out what's best for them and are growing ever more tired of this dance. As always, check your premise as you receive new information. For instance, if they start wearing masks instead of bio-suits in biohazard labs (that is hyperbolic, I'm aware) I'd adjust my premise to new information.

Good info. Agree the immunocompromised should get the 3rd shot. And other shots available if that works for them.

Hey Lou. He's tuned you out. I understand why you want to respond to it though considering the barrage you receive here. Keep posting the info you got (if the mods are going to keep this thread going). Same for the others. It helps to get both sides since much of what you post is considered mis-info by some.

T Paine (not making a direct comparison people. Loose analogy for the sake of this sole post) was considered mis-info by some for similar reasons.

Thanks SB! From my POV, I want to present the alternative side since it's being actively suppressed my the MSM and big tech. That is not science. Scientific hypothesis/assumptions/data must pass thru rigorous and robust debate to get us all to the truth. Bad and horrible decisions are being made because the whole story isn't being told. I appreciate you, Muskie in Dayton and others for supporting free and open debate....

Indeed. Sometimes telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
