What I would like to see, and haven’t yet, is an analysis of cause of death per year for the last few years. I think it’s a safe bet that there was an uptick in overall deaths in 2020. What I also think it will show is that there were fewer deaths from cancer, heart failure, etc. The reports I’ve seen all say the data isn’t complete for last year.

I googled your stat. Up came the fact check. I read the article. It said the info first appeared in a (later taken down) Qanon post.

When you have a half million excess deaths in one year, there may be a reason.

The stat came from the CDC’s site in an article posted today. Factcheck responded to a quote/musing from Trump in a Q tweet about CDC guidance in Aug. The CDC recently updated (I assume, new article) their site to reflect Trumps numbers/musings. Please read information instead of running to Google and picking the first headline that pops up you agree with.

BJFs post hints about what may have happened.

Edit: I stand corrected. The CDC did publish the findings in August and CNN smeared the woman who reported it as a Q supporter. So, the stat and source are true. CNN smeared the tweeter(?)/reporter and Factcheck completed the smear with a fact check of a true statement. Well done fake news!

I’d love to hear the anti-maskers’ thoughts on mask mandate and/or mask wearing motive. I have asked that same question in different ways about five or six times in this thread and they never give an answer. Guess they don’t want their tin foil hat or pure crazy to show.

I don’t think there’s a motive. Our government and governmental agencies are just stupid as dog shit. That’s it.

Does anyone else find it strange that on May 9th, Fauxci talks about universal masking until 2020, then on May 13, he does a complete about-face and says masks are not necessary for the vaccinated? What happened in those few days?!?

Fellas, seriously. We are all part of the X family, I wish all of you well (though I may fervently disagree with some of you)... but a few questions: Do you think the initial videos from Italy were fabricated? Misleading? Staged?

Do you think that Brazil had a horrific time dealing with the virus? The initial response due to lack of PPE and later vaccines? What about India? Outside our borders, where limited resources (PPE/vaccines) aren't available, do you honestly think numbers were conveniently juxtaposed, contrasted, and formulated to suit our current government and CDC agenda? Who do you all think is nvolved in this "DEEP STATE"? The Vatican? The FDA? The CDC? The FBI? Hollywood? The MSM? Colleges? Your local doctor? Your local counselor? Basically every trained professional you ever put trust in? The goal of a narcissist is to confuse, gaslight, and redefine everything your faith and intuition led/brought you to believe in. Republicans, I think it's time to wake up.

As far as the vaccine... went through a hellish 7hrs after the second dose (Moderna). In my 40's, so I imagine that had something to do with it.

What the hell is my point? Herd immunity (from what I understand), is only successful if a virus is not mutating. In order to mutate, it needs time to spread further.

I enjoyed this one a couple days ago. I'll paraphrase: "We don't see evidence that masks help stop covid, but maybe it's due to varying individual viral loads. We believe masks help with lower viral loads, so we ran a model with a variable that assumes masks work with lower viral loads. The model shows that masks work with lower viral loads."
