Apparently the vaccine cures the "long-covid" effects: Some long-haul covid-19 patients say their symptoms are subsiding after getting vaccines - The Washington Post. Either that or "long-covid" is psychosomatic bullshit.

I'm going with the latter, since no vaccine has ever cured effects of a disease.

For those of you who’ve gotten the vaccine, especially the J&J shot, does your vaccine card have a sticker on it giving detail of the vaccine, like lot number, manufacturer, etc.? I got the J&J vaccine, but they hand wrote the information on my card. Every other card I’ve seen from friends and family has a sticker on it.

I’m concerned that if I have to show mine anywhere to provide proof of vaccination, like at an airport, it might be looked at as fake.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

What is even MORE asinine is that you would need to have that to show in the first place.

I’ve seen this first hand, but “cure” is a strong word. I couldn’t read the article to see if it mentions the word “cure” but I have seen symptoms improve after the vaccine. There are several theories on this ranging from viral reservoirs, immune activity, and placebo effect but long covid is not bs.

Edit: I should also mention that many people that have had improvement of symptoms may likely see symptoms come back at some point.

Some places that use single dose vials place a sticker to save time. Most cards have handwritten lot numbers since most vaccine recipients have received doses from multi dose vials.

I think I understand for the most part. However, isn’t vial sharing forbidden? Or did they void that with this vaccine?

Vial sharing is discouraged esp with different lot numbers (but still happens). What I was referring to was that there’s only one sticker on a vial and 10+ doses. So doses administered in that vial are handwritten on the patient card.
J&J has a lot of single dose vials so they use stickers from that vial.

We get the second Pfizer shot Thursday. The card has a sticker with the lot # and the date is handwritten. I must admit, the experience for the first shot was very well organized.
