YIKES! We aren’t kids anymore, but the wife scheduled off for the Friday after our second shots. Just in case.

If you want to mark this thread anniversary with some fun, go back and read the first 50 or so posts. We (society, as represented by the fine Musketeer fan base on XU Hoops) knew then that this was only deadly for sick/elderly, kids are largely unaffected, and yes, hydroxychloroquine provided some treatment benefit. Then politics and the news happened.

I haven't listened to all of this podcast, but the first 15 minutes were pretty startling, if this guy is correct. GIFFMD, do you know if this guy is legit? He says washing and santitizing your hands is always a good idea, but it won't stop the spread of the virus because it's respiratory. He also said trying to stop the spread of a respiratory virus is like trying to stop the wind. Predicts 480,000 deaths in the US.

Pretty solid prediction from a year ago. Seemed nuts at the time but still under shot.

I was hoping someone would pick up on that one. It is staggeringly accurate - and based on simple principles know long before COVID.

Had my first dose of Moderna today. My arm is a little sore, but the process of getting the vaccine was extremely quick (no wait), and check in didn't take long at all. The pharmacy was awesome and so were the employees.

However, several hours after receiving my first dose, I went to the bathroom. Briefly glancing at the mirror, I noticed something odd. So for those concerned, yes, The Deep State is involved in this. Here's a straight shot mirror selfie:

Thank God I've researched things for myself, realized that Dr Fauci was totally wrong when recommending people don't buy medical masks (to save them for medical professionals, which he later admitted), and that Dr. Amy Acton was kicked from the governor's team. (I thought about bringing an AR-15 to her house myself, this is about freedom and liberty). WAY OFF on her estimates.

Dow is looking good.
