As we enter February, Johnson has proven that he is more than up to the challenge of Big East competition. Nate has shaken off that mini 3 game shooting slump, were he went 2-13 from distance, by going 4-6 in his last 2. His percentage now stands at a staggering 52.2% on just over 5 attempts pg. That's puts him 3rd nationally.... let that sink in for a moment. As if that wasn't enough, he is an elite effort guy....a polished veteran out there in all phases. The most pleasant surprise is his sticky D!!!

Honestly, Nate is like having another Paul Scruggs out there but more of a shooter than a slasher/driver kind of guy. This in no ways means that Paul can't shoot or that Nate can't drive. They both play more to their strengths. Defensively, the two are the best duo in the BE IMO.

Of all the transfers that have come to X, if I could only choose one to be on my fantasy team, I would probably choose Drew Lavender.
Nate Johnson is so well rounded and has great length, he is my #2 on all time transfer team.

Didn’t have time to let it sink in because now he’s 1st nationally. ;)

Not even remotely surprised, he can really hit it from deep, it's really fun to watch him shoot.

Wasn’t Crawford a transfer? He is my number 1 transfer and high on the list for favorite Muskie.

Nate would have to flame up A LOT more nets to enter that conversation. Lavender and Crawford were multi year players, and are totally in another zip code. However if Big Nate decides to take advantage of the free season and comes back.....it could get interesting.

I think Crawford only played 1 season, but it was a hell of a season. Lavendar played 3, I think, which probably gives him the edge for me in the 'all time Xavier transfers' list.
