Hey they have a heck of a menu...but in all seriousness, it might as well have been..it was just odd because the night before we ate at a restaurant but they took our temperature, followed strict social distancing guidelines, and then this restaurant which was right down the street did the complete opposite.

Wonder if Dump Trump is still taking Hydroxychloroquine, and telling people to ingest sanitizer.

Also wonder if Sleepy Joe is calling for massive protest and looting with bans against mass gathering and COVID-19 still around and rising in certain parts of the country.

Due to rain, I moved my baseball team's practice to an indoor facility last weekend. Pretty huge place with batting cages in the back. What I didn't know was that they had a basketball tournament going on that weekend. Probably 8 courts back to back to back to (you get the point) all filled with kids, and the walkway next to the courts packed with parents. I'm guessing there were at LEAST 500 people packed together in that place. It was nuts. We as a people are not being particularly cautious here in Kansas (and somehow we seem to be avoiding the spikes that are happening in other places), but there's no way I would have booked practice at that place had a I known what was going on in there.

So true! I make a point of noting which places take this seriously, and those that do not. It limits my options severely, but I appreciate the places who do it right and they get my money.

    There’s a good article on Cincinnati.com:

Would you do this, doc? COVID-19 experts here weigh in on 10 options

They do a nice job taking the conceptual understanding of this stuff and converting it to common sense practice. One person is more conservative, but for the most part there is alignment on risk of various activities.

The protests/looting/rioting started and peaked Memorial Day weekend, but whatevs. My point is that nothing changed much in the last week or two that the increases can be attributed to.

George Floyd was killed Memorial Day weekend. The protests/looting really got going the following weekend and gained steam for at least a week after that.

This is what we have been doing. It is pretty easy to look around and see what changes a restaurant made and how much thought they put into those changes.

I love Hi-Mark's new policy that if anyone breaks any of their rules they will immediately cut off service for everyone and point out whose fault it is. This is the type of public shaming I can get behind.

Shit that’s right. I keep forgetting Memorial Day was not the last weekend in May. It all kind of runs together without full work weeks. Regardless, the point stands - we would have seen effects of protest riots the first week or 2 of June.
