I agree...I have no problem with the FBI doing an investigation. I'm so sick and tired of politicians and the games they continue to play...we need term limits and to outlaw lobbyists. That would clean out a lot of the issues we currently have in our government.

I would hope that everyone on this board, from the left to the right and from the right back to the left, agree with your bolded statement.

I hope you see what is happening in this country. I doubt it, if you saw how employees are treated you wouldn't feel that way. A friend just took a job at a fortune 500. They are working until 10pm each night through close (accounting). It is caused by a lack of resources. Companies lay off employees to cut G&A, then increase the work load on those they retain. Pay then remains stagnant.

I sincerely hope our Corporate overlords are benevolent.

I work at a fortune 500 in accounting, outside of 3 weeks at year end our staff accountants do not work more than 40-45 hours week. Very tough market to find accountants as well as there is a ton of competition. Tell your friend to keep looking if hes not happy.

So one particular anecdote and that is "what is happening in this country?" I work with fortune 500 companies as a consultant and what you described is nowhere close to the norm that I have heard.

Nope, but 5 years at PwC does and the corporate contacts I have as well. I know companies that don't do this, but the vast majority I know does. They view it as a meat grinder, when one employee is finished it's just next man up.

Couple things odd with the Avenatti timeline. According to reports, the accuser went to 10 parties from 1981 - 1983 and saw gang rapes. Why go to these parties if you saw this happening? In 1982, state you were a victim and still went back to those parties? This is not to say something didn’t happen to her in 1982. She graduated in 1980 and went back to 10 high school parties? I know it happens but 3 years after you graduate? To give this timeline a benefit of doubt, maybe Georgetown Prep house parties are not just for HS kids and different than the ones I attended while in HS. I left for college, going back to HS parties was something I never thought of doing. Meeting old HS friends out...sure.
