If nothing else, just make him a temporary assistant for the sUCks and Butler games.
But really, I would be interested in Thornton. Other former players are really all I can think of, I'm not that tied in with assistant coaching ranks.
Whatever happened with Aaron Williams? He was an interim asst for a little while.
If we want to talk about player development, what about J Love? The dude lived it. Still playing in Europe I think, but not sure how much longer.
I assume NBA asst salaries and experience destroy whatever we could offer, but man it would be awesome to have Posey on the sidelines.

Just a notice that Rick Carter was at several games and did some podcast-y type things during this past season. But In Steele (or the next coach), we must trust.
