It's a decrease because there are (apparently) two less home games.

You can either go ahead and pay the whole thing off right now, you can go for the payment plan, 4 payments over the next 4 months (set to recurr the first of every month) with no interest. I chose this option as its less painful to look at 4 $165 charges than 1 $660 charge. Or you can simply put down a $50/seat "good faith" deposit with the promise to pay the rest by October 1.

The tickmaster fees for 2 seats come to $6 - making my total season ticket bill (not including the premium seat charge) - $666 for two seats.

Add in the Prem III fee and that comes to $866 "on the rim and out the door" for two season tickets this coming season. Over 30 admissions thats $866 less $60 for the exhibition games (You don't get Premium seat privileges like Duff's during exhibitions) or $806/30 = $26.87/ticket "real price"

It finally worked for me. I haven't gone through with it yet only because i want to see if there is a chance to move down. I can't get through to the ticket office right now.

Don't forget that 80% of the seat premium is tax deductible, so that the per game cost for you is even less than $26.87 per seat. It's a great deal for a first rate product that is only going to get better over time.....like a good wine or a fine bourbon.

Usually a rough of the schedule will appear in the paper sometime during the summer. Towards September or October we'll get a list of dates and games, if only because the single game on sale is in mid October (with alumni and season ticketholder courtesy week before that)

The tickets will come without game TIMES printed on them, and its not unusual to not have a firm listing of all the game times until they hand out a schedule on or just before the first exhibition. (Last year I think I first got a fleshed out shcedule with dates, times, and TV at Muskie Madness - *the event, not the site*)

Muskie - normally I would think you may be too early to ask about seat improvement, as they usually take seat improvement requests when you renew. However, since this year the vast majority of the premium seat contracts were up for renewal, the ticket office may have some idea of the availability in premium seating tickets from seats vacated by those opting to not renew their contract.

Good luck on that improvement request!

See I don't want to renew right now and then lost out on the chance to move up.

I was just reminded that the Prem III fee is $200/seat, not total, so that brings it up to $1,066 for the pair for the 30 regular games or $33.53/ticket.

Still as X-Man indicated a great deal for the best sports franchise in the city - pro or college...

It easily falls in line or is less expensive than other forms of entertainment (concerts, theater, other sports venues), especially when you consider that parking at Cintas is still FREE.

Every year i go to my first game and I prepare myself for the possibility that parking may no longer be free. Coaster do you know where rates are for the seats (even least years including the premium fees).

    MOR,

The guy in your Avatar and your man giving the peace sign look "related."

You have any insight into that?

This page on the official site pretty much runs down your options, and both the ticket price and the premium donation for every seat category.

    http://goxavier.cstv.com/tickets/xav...l-tickets.html

Oh, I don't have any word that parking won't be free, so I am assuming ti still will be, I know there is a danger in that.

I did note in the preimum seat packets back in March it listed th benfits and one of them was "May include parking" I'm not sure if that covers the close in parking for club and Prem I seats, or if thats a clue that as parking gets tight for the construction of Xavier Square, that they may limit "official" parking to certain tiers of premium seat holders

I'm not sure how the masses would react to finding a tollbooth on the way to official parking in November, but if they do that, I hope Norwood Plaza is ready to deal with the aftermath.

FWIW: they have flattened, grassed, and strawed a good deal of the Zumbiel/ Norwood Cafe land. I wonder if they would consider making that a grass lot until real construction starts.
