It was nice of Oregon to get to Vandy's starter early and wear out their bullpen a bit. It can't be understated how important it was for Bosacker to throw a complete game; the shutout was a bonus.
Luke Hoskins is all but certain to be the ace of the pitching staff in 2024; here's a great opportunity to get a head start on that.

Nice play by Stephenson to get to the bottom of the 2nd. Would like to see more than 5 pitches out of the Vandy pitcher this time through the order.

Both of the balls were scalded in the 3rd inning; not gonna get on Stephenson for that one.
But this Vandy pitcher looks like he's going to bail his bullpen out at this rate.
