I don't think anyone has a problem with implementing this to motivate guys to perform and using it as a performance measure.

The problem is using it as the be all end all for game minutes. That's just dumb.

Do you think Sean cared if Jordan Crawford led the team in gold jerseys (which I'm guessing he didn't)? Dude just got buckets and Sean knew it.

Not about the the use of the system in practice but how the results get implemented into game decisions.

Correct, but decided to come to X when Miller was the coach. I believe he made mention of the fact that the 2009 Sweet 16 team would have been a title contender had Crawford been eligible.

Yes the year he left if he had stayed he would have had Derrick Brown, who probably would have stayed and Jordan Crawford. They would have beat Kstate and Butler had that been the case.

Would have been a higher seed and not even had those matchups if that were the case. That would have been a hell of a team.

A fun hypothetical is what would've been the better team. 2008-09 IF Crawford was eligibile (albeit a year younger than when he played for X)

    Or:

If Derrick Brown had stayed his Senior Year for the 2009-2010.

My vote is the latter, but can see the case for both sides.
    Run the table.

Definitely the latter considering the only other loss of significance from 08/09 to 09/10 was BJ Raymond.

So if Brown comes back Raymond is the only loss and you still get the big jump in improvements from Tu, Love, McLean (although maybe not the jump here with Brown in the fold), plus the addition of Lyons as well.

CJ Anderson was also a significant loss from the 08/09 team.
