It is an answer. Not a very good one, IMO, but an answer. The desk I hid under as a kid was silly. I think I knew that as a child.

I have noticed more than ever the last year what comes out of peoples mouths when they speak and laugh. Masks reduce that. No doubt about it. HOW effective are masks? I can’t say, but it’s more than zero. I was willing to play along, and I still do at the grocery store.

Still wear mine when I go into the store as well. Feel pretty silly about it but it’s not worth the hassle from Karens/Kevins to pick up a couple of things. Also, if the business requires it, well that’s their business.

It seems very simple for grown ups to handle. Not sure why some make it so hard.

I think that will change in a matter of merely weeks, unlike this LONG process of getting here.

    Hope so.

Also hope, between this and his analysis on AIDS, we no longer look to Fauci for information about virology.

Edit: Also hope we’re not treated to damage control. Even though the masks and lockdowns were not as necessary as thought, millions COULD have died if we didn’t do it.

Not sure what the big "mask controversy" is all about if you had the vax. Keep one in your pocket and wear it when required. Airports, planes, trains, private businesses that still require one. Not a big deal. Get over it.

Agree but yet we have the anti maskers on here on what seems like a daily basis obsessing over it.

Yeah, it should be fairly simple. I will say, we went to neighbors for drinks and snacks last night, and it was a bit odd with shaking hands and little hugs. What used to be 100% natural was......weird. That will pass soon enough, and I’m glad we took that first step.

What is the argument for masks at this point? Serious question not being snarky.

I'm going to Vegas for Memorial Day weekend, and I'm pretty thrilled that the casinos have dropped all the maks mandates and social distancing requirements. Business as usual in Sin City in 11 days!
