No, it wasn't the lockdowns, it wasn't the masks, and it isn't the vaccines. It's natural herd immunity. By the end of the weekend roughly 60% of the population will have contracted Covid. Most studies report that herd immunity is achieved when 60-70% of the population is infected. In a few weeks this will be on the wane.

Trust the science, not the hysteria....

You just love to pick and choose whatever fits your narrative don’t you?

    From the same press conference:

Dr. Fauci said the emergence of new variants “is all the more reason why we should be vaccinating as many people as you possibly can.” The reason is that viruses need to infect people so they can replicate and mutate. “And if you can suppress that by a very good vaccine campaign, then you could actually avoid this deleterious effect that you might get from the mutations,” he said.

If the United States can vaccinate 70 percent to 85 percent of the population by the middle or end of the summer, he predicted that “by the time we get to the fall, we will be approaching a degree of normality. It’s not going to be perfectly normal, but one that I think will take a lot of pressure off the American public.”

There was also nothing in what he said about the reason for plateauing was due to herd immunity.

More hysteria - sorry, he's wrong! Keep believing the nonsense....

EDIT: Man, you sure do get triggered rather easily. Not sure why you're taking my analysis as a reason not to get vaccinated - this is completely fabricated in your little mind.

Yeah, I guess you're a "hoax" hannity fan who said, " It's been 9 hours and 400,000 people are dead". Geesus. As an Irish Catholic, this guy makes me puke. All deaths must now be tranferred to Biden.

I agree, there's definitely a lot of variability from state to state, West Virginia finally was first in something good in getting out their doses as soon as possible, reaching giving out every dose at 100% the fastest, but my point was that it's kind of unfair to say there was "no plan in place," I think the plan was more so, "let's let the states figure it out." It'd be nice to be unified completely, but I also think it has to very state to state due to population demographics, etc. But yeah, I don't understand that Ohio rule, I had no idea about it, pretty dumb.
