Who Will Grab The Most Boards ...

    in the 2008-2009 Season?
"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Hard to choose. I'm going with the player who was most productive per minute and will have his minutes increased this season (I assume).

I guess if Frease gets substantial minutes that cut into Love's, then this prediction is off.

Having not seen Kenny, it's hard to give him more love than...Love.

Derrick Brown, being an excellent rebounder and logging the most minutes, will grab the most boards.

Exactly why I voted for him.

Tough question...but one that does not have a wrong answer

If it is Frease, the freshman has a bright future and Xavier is having a good year

If it is Brown, no one will be surprised (a possible games like BYU with 18 rebounds in 18 minutes)

If it is McLean, then he is getting a lot of playing time and is one of the best transfers in the country

If it is Love, we are going to have a lot of offensive rebounds and a bunch of second chance opportunities

If it is Anderson, then he is playing down low a lot more and is opening up our outside shooters

It would be great to have all of these guys average double digit rebounds a game(don't know if that's possible)...kinda like our balanced scoring

That would mean we were the best defense in NCAA history. Nice to think about, but not likely.

I have to give it to Brown. Frease and Love will cut into each others minutes, and therefore numbers. While I like C.J., he is just too sporadic in his productivity to lead the team in anything.
