    Cincinnatian gets Silver in 110HH

David Payne is a Wyoming grad and ran for Bill Schnier at UC, just copped the silver in the hurdles.

For any of you who may not follow in detail, he was FIFTH coming off the last hurdle in the trials in June. Third and last team qualifier stumbles, Paine lunges past 4th and barely makes the team. By all rights should have been happy to just make the OLY final. Set SBs in every heat I believe.

Watch Mary Danner Weinberg, another UC product, in the 4x400 Womens relay final. That race has five legitimate gold medal aspiring teams, including the US.
It's a still great day to be a Muskie, but a sad day to be a supporting member of this board.

I liked how he was carrying on about the "5-1-3" after the race. Way to represent!

I would add that the Cuban who got the gold is also the world record holder. So it's quite an accomplishment for Payne to finish behind no one other than the world record holder.
