I like the Wild Colonial's version of "It's Not Unusual".

The Wild Colonials with lead singer Angela McClosky certainly are in the "Best Bands No One Has Ever Heard Of" category. Hollywood loved them for soundtracks, but they never hit the big time. That category could create a whole new thread though.

NO, NO, NO. A cover of The Beatles cannot be better than the original, especially if it is Joe Cocker. I never understood why stealing Beatles songs while having a spasm was considered good music.
