Jovana Nikolic, 6-2, F, Fr. (DNP)
Olivia Borsutzki, 5-11, G, Fr. (0 ppg – 3 games)
Lika Kvirkvelia, 6-4, C, Soph. (1.7 ppg – 2023-24)
Julia Garcia, 5-7, G, Soph. (2.9 ppg)
Irune Orio, 6-2, G, Jr. (3.5 ppg)
Daniela Lopez, 5-10, G, Soph. (5.4 ppg)
Aizhanique Mayo, 5-9, G, Soph. (7.3 ppg)
Some significant losses here. The biggest name of the group is Mayo. She scored 27 points against DePaul in the Big East tournament opening-round win and was the team's third-leading scorer. She initially started her career at Marquette before transferring to Iona, then moving from Iona to Xavier when Coach Chambers took the job. She gained eligibility in the middle of the 2023-24 season as a two-time transfer and was hailed as an impact player for the program.
Orio started 20 games this season after transferring in last year from Sacramento State. Daniela Lopez and Julia Garcia Roig are both sophomores from Spain who were regulars in the lineup over their two seasons here. Lopez started 27 games over two seasons and Garcia Roig started 13 games across two seasons.
Kvirkvelia disappeared from the roster fairly early in the season without explanation. Nikolic and Borsutzki were never contributors.
If this is a final list (no idea), Meri Kanerva will be the key returner after leading this year's team in scoring at 11.2 ppg. The next top returner in terms of scoring average will be Petra Oborilova at 4.2 ppg. In total, the team would be returning about 20 ppg from this year's team.
Loren Christie (7.5 ppg), Tae'lor Purvis (6.2 ppg) and walk-on Jordan Miller have used all of their eligibility. With the seven players into the portal, that means the team will lose 10 players from this season and the roster is at four (plus two previously announced freshman for next year).

Xavier has its first incoming transfer for 2025-26. Guard Audia Young is transferring in after three years (including a redshirt) at Auburn. She should have two years of eligibility remaining.
Young averaged 3.6 points per game over two seasons. Auburn went 12-18 overall and 3-13 this season, prompting a coaching change. She did, notably, score 19 points against LSU this season.
"We could not be more excited to add Audia to our roster!" said Chambers. "This young woman's potential is off the charts - She can score on all three levels and her commitment to defense is elite. Her athleticism, competitiveness and ability to make everyone around her better will immediately impact our program."

The roster for 2025-26 stands at nine currently. One senior, one redshirt junior (Young), five sophomores and two freshmen.

Aizhanique Mayo has committed to DePaul. This will be her third Big East school and fourth school overall.
Irune Orio is headed to Pepperdine. She came to Xavier from Sacramento State, so she must prefer the West Coast.
None of the other players who left Xavier have committed anywhere yet. The two Spanish players showed talent but I would guess the rest of the players who left might head back to their home countries.Last edited by HomerCecil; 04-25-2025 at 12:09 PM.

Mya Moore (not to be confused with Maya Moore) has transferred in from Cleveland State. She's a 6-2 forward who averaged 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game at Cleveland State. Doesn't exactly scream Big East level talent but, you know, it's Xavier.
