Sorber 6'10"was impressive in GT win vs. Lehigh. Scored 20 points and 13 boards. Was fun watching him. Another freshman is 7 footer Halaifanoua. Interesting match ups are forthcoming.

X doesn't have anything to deal with that. It is a huge concern.

My post was concerning league play overall. Our lack of size will be a problem in many games....including GU. No quality depth.

And Xavier killer Kalkbrenner dropped 49 in Creighton's opener last night.

And our strengths will be problems for our opponents in many games.
Looking down the other end and seeing really big guys and getting worried is not how basketball works. There are plenty of advantages this X team will have night in and night out. No team is perfect.
Example - can two 7 footers keep up in our up-tempo style? Prolly not.
The beauty of basketball is there is always a counter.Last edited by drudy23; 11-07-2024 at 08:43 AM.

You whistled past the graveyard here concerning how basketball "works". Last night answered your "can".....with horrific results.
All my points in this insignificant thread will consistently be reality in multiple future threads,.....because unfortunately Hugley appears to be useless.Last edited by Xuperman; 11-28-2024 at 02:14 PM.

Sorber with a double double in the upset at Nova. But Peavy's 24 points is the story!
