CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers open the 2024-25 regular season on Monday, November 4 vs. Texas Southern at 7:30 p.m. Xavier opens the regular season with five-straight games at Cintas Center.
Xavier has won 34 straight regular season openers, including all 24 season openers at Cintas Center. The Texas Southern game tips off XU's 25th season at its on-campus home.

Not sure what to expect in this era of reshuffled rosters, but even five random guys in Xavier uniforms can beat Texas Southern, right?

Texas Southern has been an occasional spoiler during buy games, but they don't have a roster that screams upset special this year.

Obviously looking forward to seeing the new faces and how the team looks. But I can’t wait for the first time Hunter checks into the game. Should be the loudest the building gets all night.
