    Cintas Lot Parking

I park in Lot B/C4 - looks like they are taking away all Montgomery Road entry to the strip mall parking. That just leaves a left turn onto Cleanay where everyone and their mother is trying to turn on during gameday, as this also leads to the closer Cintas Center lots.

The area around that left turn is always a cluster, even when the Montgomery Road entry was open. Are we all going to have to get to the games 90 minutes prior to tip-off to actually see tip-off? Or will a police presence shutter cars through without having to wait for the left turn light?

If there's no direction of traffic, that line to turn left is going to take forever.

It does seem bad. I park in C2 and it looks like they want me to enter via Cleanay as well or St. Francis Xavier Way. I always used to come from Victory Parkway and up that hill behind the Cintas Center. That left turn on to Cleansy does suck and that’s why I always avoided it. This doesn’t seem well thought out.

For what it's worth, I heard there is a new security/traffic company at the Cintas this season. All your favorite parking lot attendants and physically unfit security guards are gone. Don't know if it will have any effect or not.

And to add to it, the checkpoint to scan parking passes for Lot B/C4 is the same route as those going to C2. So that will back things up even more.

There has to be a police presence directing traffic, otherwise, there's no way this works. Montgomery Road will be backed up for a mile.

Did they shut off the back route entry as well? Wondering if I can come up through campus the back way.

Got an email about this today. My parking is in R3 and it says I should access it from Cleneay. We’ve always gotten there from Victory Parkway to Ledgewood to left on the street that runs behind Cintas, up the hill to the parking lot. The email also says you can use the Waze app to “XBB - Access Point 2” to get there. I entered that and it took me the way we did last year, not over Cleneay. I emailed back to get some confirmation.

I always come from the Dana Ave exit to Montgomery to Cleneay; I usually try to get to the game about 60 minutes before tipoff. The noncon games (outside of Wake) shouldn't be a problem, although I wouldn't be too worried about traffic even during the Big East games later in the season.

I reached out as well with no response. Going from multiple points of entry to one is not all in

Seems like they are ignoring on purpose.

Why take away entry from the shopping center entrances? I have noticed card dealership cars in that lot, wonder if they got a bunch of complaints.

Thinking about either trying to go through campus on the back side, or coming up Montgomery in the opposite direction to turn right onto Cleanay. If this is a cluster tomorrow, everyone is going to be complaining and they won't be able to ignore. I'll reserve further judgment until then.
