BTW, the study revealed that 90% of those studied were 13-19 old White males with access to guns. 92% tell at least 1 person their intention.....64% tell multiple people.

In a eerie coincidence, Dr Phil Primetime aired a 1 hr special last night focused on school shooters. It was not live, because there was no mention of Georgia.

This focused on the most comprehensive study of shooters personal history to date. The experts of the study looked at the last 50 yrs of these incidents and their findings are a unique angle. They made it clear, this was not a profile, but a 10 step "path" these shooters travel to get to the shooting.

Really eye opening and feature interviews with shooter family members, victims family and even a convicted shooter. They intend to use the study in sweeping school education programs. The actionable element is to get all students and other associated school personnel comfortable with reporting these step elements. Must see.

I'm not a Dr. Phil fan, but this does sound very interesting.

Can he be re-elected Governor in Georgia? He's already on his second term. There's also a good chance he'll run for President in 2028 if Donald Trump loses in a landslide and ends up in prison.

I guess not. I just meant reelected for any office, senate or whatever

Father has been charged with murder, about damn time something like this happens.

Sounds like the kids home life was really shitty and he had been asking for help.

    Parents of the year, shocking.

Both of Crumbley's parents have been convicted of involuntarily manslaughter with significant sentences.

The Georgia Prosecutor will likely have a tough time getting a murder conviction..... depending on the quality of defense of course.

This is a really informative article. The charges listed seem to leave room to pursue the lesser charges....only TWO murder charges seems odd.

I wonder if the shooter will testify against his dad? Does the prosecution cut a deal with the kid to make a statement about parental responsibility? New legal precedent could be set here.

How dumb can his father possibly be? A kid is questioned for comments he made online about shooting up a school last year, so what does he do? Buys the kid a gun as a present. Some people should not procreate.
