If we don’t sit pat at #28, the GM’s tendency is to trade up a few spots to get the guy he really wants. Maybe WR Brian Thomson Jr in the early 20’s. We need a real threat at WR. Even Diggs wasn’t that half of last year.

Their absolute first love would be WR Odunze, but he’ll be gone too early and be far too expensive.


So, we probably go Edge, CB or DT, ‘cause that’s how we often roll!

What do the Bengals need? OL?

It sucks when you get good and everybody wants to get paid “what they are worth.” The draft is where you have to find quality and cheap labor to offset all the guys you have to pay. (If you are even willing, in the Bengals case.)

For the Bengals I hope they just get an impact player. Preferably either a DT, WR or OT. An OT may not start this year regardless, but I just hope they don’t miss on that position again.

I’ve farted around with the draft simulators and my view is the DT class is pretty deep.

Would love for the Giants to find their way to #3 and take Drake Maye (although taking a UNC QB after taking a failed Duke QB is a little dicey).

If the Giants cant get Maye then I would prefer they take Nabers or Odunze at 6. Not sure I am sold on McCarthy.

WR is super deep too. Although if the Bengals are keeping Higgins and going all in with their core WR group this season, they could probably look elsewhere to make an impact this year. I have seen a lot of CB's to Bengals in mocks. DT like you said also.
