This or the NIT?
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

More interesting than the NIT. Some sponsor should step up for NIL money to the participants (the more you win, the more money the players get).

That’s gonna be some sloppy ass basketball.
The teams that get the “auto-bid” likely just had their bubbles popped and face the disappointment of not making the tourney. So you give them 2 full weeks of no games and expect them to give a shit about this?
And btw, the portal window is half way closed when this tournament concludes.
Predicting a fail here. BEST case scenario is they put the NIT out of business and mop up the 17 people that actually watch it.

Unless this new tournament has a payout for winning this tournament, teams won't be any more likely to accept invites for this tournament than they would the NIT.

I'm surprised the NIT hasn't folded yet. The ratings have to be abysmal, especially with the current star power in the women's game.

The Seton Hall vs. Indiana State game was fun to watch!
