And our wedding day was the same date 50 years ago.
Xavier beat Toledo, where my wife’s brother went.
Not only did I gain a bride, I also gained $100.
A pretty, pretty good day.

Well then…..Happy 50th Anniversary! A very respectable number! She must be a saint.

I invited the Quantico Marines Band to a party at our place after we won the game. Little did I know that they would all show up. I proposed to my wife on a coffee table which gave way and I fell on the floor throwing the ring across the room. 55 yrs. Going good so far.
