Providence lives to fight another day. X can actually leapfrog Creighton in the BE standings on Saturday.

At this rate, it is going to be UConn and Marquette with high seeds then six Big East teams crammed into the Last Four In.

Creighton has a very tough February Schedule. When X beats them Saturday they are going to fall to 7-6..very realistically could be 10-10 in conference when all is said and done.

Actually, Marquette's finish is equally hard. They have to play UCONN twice, @Butler, @Creighton, @Xavier.

Sounds kind of insane, but second place is up for grabs and X could take it with a 12-8 record depending on tiebreakers and could get second outright with a 6-2 finish.

Seton Hall is getting defenestrated at Villanova. They're going to be in a bad mood Wednesday.

Nova crushin SH by 27 with 4 minutes left. I think we match up better with SH because they too are a guard oriented team and not much of front court.

Edit: must have been typing the same time as Band.

I think it will be the final nail in the coffin for the loser of the St. John's-Providence game tonight. Should be a good matchup...looking forward to that one and the Butler-Marquette square off.

Providence was postponed to Wed I believe due to weather.

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess maybe they decided not to postpone.

Big East now has three of the first 8 out (none of which are Xavier), so we got that going for us, which is not nice.
